Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Chief Manager – Legal to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within the power or infrastructure sector. A strong foundation in commercial, property, and contract law is essential.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.)

7 to 10 years of relevant legal experience
-
Prior exposure to the power sector is preferred
-
Strong knowledge of contract, commercial, and real estate law
Key Responsibilities
-
Contract Management
Draft, review, and finalize a broad range of agreements, including:-
Supply and service contracts
-
EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) agreements
-
O&M (Operations & Maintenance) agreements
-
Tender and bid documentation
-
HR & administrative service contracts
-
Utility and transmission agreements
-
International contracts, NDAs, MOUs, and standard terms
-
Financing and funding agreements
-
-
Legal Opinions
Provide strategic and actionable legal advice on business operations and risks. -
Land & Title Diligence
Conduct property-related due diligence and verification for projects. -
Bid Review & Legal Support
Assist in reviewing commercial bids and legal documentation during the bidding process. -
Negotiation & Finalization
Participate in contract negotiation and closure with external stakeholders. -
Litigation Support
Manage disputes and support ongoing or potential litigation across jurisdictions.
