Role Summary
We are hiring a Senior Associate – Legal to manage global legal operations at Sprinto. In this role, you’ll streamline contract workflows, lead privacy compliance efforts, and leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate contract processing—all while ensuring Sprinto stays compliant with global legal standards.
Responsibilities

Contract Acceleration through AI
Utilize AI and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools (e.g., GPT-based contract review assistants, clause libraries) to shorten contract turnaround times and maintain consistency.
Continuously enhance prompts, contract playbooks, and reporting metrics to deliver measurable efficiency gains. -
Contract Drafting & Negotiation
Prepare, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts including MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, partner/reseller agreements, and other SaaS-related documents in close coordination with Sales and Finance. -
Privacy and Compliance Oversight
Ensure compliance with global data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. Handle Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), vendor risk assessments, and security audits. -
Risk Management & Legal Strategy
Assess legal risks in go-to-market (GTM) strategies and product rollouts, recommending business-friendly solutions that align with compliance standards. -
Legal Operations & Process Optimization
Manage clause libraries, playbooks, and the contract lifecycle system. Implement scalable, efficient legal operations across international time zones. -
Cross-Functional Legal Support
Collaborate with teams such as Product, Engineering, and RevOps to align on data mapping, information security controls, and client deliverables. -
Intellectual Property and Dispute Handling
Assist with trademark applications, open-source license reviews, and early-stage legal disputes. Coordinate with external counsel as required.
Required Qualifications

2–4 years of post-qualification experience in SaaS, enterprise technology contracts, or software licensing

Strong experience with AI-enhanced legal tools like GPT-based contract reviewers or automated redlining systems

In-depth knowledge of data protection laws (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and industry security standards

Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to provide actionable business-focused legal advice

Experience in supporting global commercial and product teams, especially across multiple time zones

Proactive, solution-driven mindset with a “yes, and here’s how” approach
Bonus: Experience with AI governance frameworks or certifications like SOC 2 or ISO 27001
