Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced legal professional with a strong foundation in Civil, Criminal, Commercial, Consumer Disputes, Intellectual Property, and Labour Laws. This role demands deep knowledge of legal procedures, exceptional drafting abilities, and proven leadership skills in managing company-wide legal affairs.
Key Legal Expertise Required

In-depth understanding of Civil, Criminal, and Labour Laws.

Practical exposure to Trademark, Copyright, and other IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) laws.

Experience in managing consumer disputes, corporate compliance, and commercial litigation.
Core Competencies

Exceptional Legal Drafting Skills: Ability to draft and vet contracts, agreements, legal notices, and other documentation independently.

Contract Law Proficiency: Sound understanding and experience in reviewing and drafting legal contracts/agreements.

Legal Research Expertise: Proficient in using legal research platforms like Manupatra, SCC Online, DLT Online, LJ Soft, etc., for thorough case law analysis.
Operational Responsibilities

Independently engage and coordinate with external advocates, government authorities, and law enforcement agencies.

Lead and manage the company’s Legal Department effectively.

Provide timely legal advice to management on business-related legal matters.

Monitor and manage ongoing litigation across multiple domains.
Legal Documentation & Compliance

Offer support for transactional legal matters and internal documentation.

Guide business units on legal implications of operational activities.

Ensure regulatory compliance, particularly around corporate governance.

Assess legal risks proactively and propose actionable solutions.
Leadership & Coordination

Strategically plan and implement legal initiatives and risk mitigation measures.

Capable of handling liaison with police/investigative authorities on behalf of the company.

Must demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to plan, execute, and supervise legal operations across departments.
