About the Role
The Senior Legal Counsel plays a critical role in providing strategic, operational, and tactical legal advice to support business goals while ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. The role involves overseeing corporate governance, managing legal risks, and providing leadership to the legal team.
Key Responsibilities

Advise senior management and various departments on legal matters.

Oversee corporate governance and ensure regulatory compliance.

Draft, review, and negotiate legal contracts and documents.

Manage litigation, dispute resolution, and external counsel interactions.

Develop legal strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Conduct training sessions on legal compliance and best practices.

Supervise junior legal staff and paralegals.

Prepare reports for the executive team on key legal issues.
Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.

8–10 years of post-qualification legal experience.

Expertise in corporate, commercial, intellectual property, and regulatory law.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Membership in a state bar association.

Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
