Essential Qualification and Experience
Applicants should possess post-qualification experience in regulatory compliance, particularly in regulatory update services. Strong research and presentation skills are essential, along with proficiency in legal drafting and communication. The role requires sensitivity to client-centric approaches and timely delivery (TAT). Candidates must have expertise in tracking regulatory developments across Corporate Secretarial, Finance, EHS, Stock Exchanges, Banking, NBFC, and other sectors from Indian as well as international jurisdictions. Eligible candidates must hold at least one of the following certifications – LL.B., CS, CA, or Certified Compliance Professional. The role also demands the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for tracking significant changes in laws and regulations across various jurisdictions to keep compliance repositories updated. They will conduct regulatory research to identify relevant compliance requirements and provide advisory services to clients. The role also involves developing compliance manuals for clients’ business operations, using automated compliance tools, and addressing client queries related to new legal updates. The candidate should have strong analytical skills to interpret legal provisions from a compliance perspective, along with the ability to create impactful presentations. They will serve as a single point of contact for all compliance-related queries, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
