Role & Responsibilities
This is a full-time permanent position ideal for law graduates with up to 5 years of experience who are looking to grow in the real estate sector. The role of Legal Officer is pivotal in ensuring the company’s legal framework is strong, compliant, and aligned with its business objectives. The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal tasks, including contract drafting, litigation coordination, legal due diligence, and regulatory compliance. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal teams, external counsels, and regulatory bodies, making it ideal for legal professionals seeking to broaden their expertise in property and corporate law.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Applicants must possess a B.L./LL.B degree from a recognized law school. This role is open to both freshers and professionals with up to 5 years of experience, making it ideal for enthusiastic individuals at the start or in the early years of their legal careers. Strong communication and computer literacy are essential, alongside the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Candidates with prior experience in legal drafting and real estate law will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the Legal & Regulatory Department, the candidate will:

Draft and vet legal documents, including Construction Agreements, Agreements to Sell, Sale Deeds, Affidavits, and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

Follow up on litigation matters involving the company and coordinate with panel lawyers.

Draft legal replies to notices or demands from vendors, contractors, and third parties in coordination with panel lawyers.

Conduct legal due diligence for immovable property acquisitions.

Assist other departments by ensuring compliance with their legal documentation needs.

Handle RERA filings, plot regularization, online registration, and planning permission updates.

Interact with banks and financial institutions that have approved the company’s real estate projects, addressing any legal queries and document requirements.
This role involves a mix of in-office coordination, external legal liaison, and digital legal processes — offering a comprehensive experience in corporate real estate law.
