Eligibility
The internship is open to undergraduate and postgraduate law students from India as well as abroad who are enthusiastic about legal research and writing. Ideal candidates should have a genuine interest in analyzing laws, exploring case studies, and engaging in contemporary debates within the legal system. Prior experience in writing or publication is not mandatory, but strong analytical thinking, good command over language, and attention to detail will be highly valued. The program is designed for self-motivated individuals who are willing to dedicate 2–3 hours per day for four weeks. Since the mode of the internship is online, there is no geographical restriction, making it accessible to all students who are keen to learn and contribute meaningfully to the platform.
Role
Selected interns will participate in a structured four-week online internship program scheduled for September 2025. The role primarily involves conducting research on legal topics of interest, drafting articles, preparing case notes, and writing opinion pieces for publication. Interns will also attend live training sessions that cover key skills such as legal writing techniques, proper citation methods, and the use of AI tools in research. The program ensures a balance between learning and application, with interns getting the chance to see their work published on the platform. High-performing participants may also be promoted to editorial roles, awarded a Letter of Recommendation, and even recognized as “Intern of the Month.” This position provides real-world exposure to legal writing and fosters skills essential for academic and professional success in law.
