Eligibility

This internship is designed for law students who are serious about honing their skills in litigation, corporate law, and intellectual property rights. Applicants must be in their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of a five-year integrated LL.B. program or in their 2nd or 3rd year of a three-year law degree program. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in diverse legal subjects and possess strong research and analytical abilities. While prior experience in similar roles will be considered an advantage, it is not mandatory. Students who can adapt quickly to new challenges, showcase attention to detail, and demonstrate a passion for practical legal learning will be preferred. This internship is particularly suitable for individuals aspiring to build a career in litigation and corporate practice.

Role and Responsibilities

Interns at Foresight Law Offices India will be given the opportunity to engage in a variety of meaningful tasks that enhance both their academic learning and professional development. The work profile primarily involves conducting detailed legal research across multiple domains, such as contracts, intellectual property, constitutional law, criminal law, arbitration, and insolvency matters. Interns will also be required to research relevant precedents using platforms like SCC Online and Manupatra. Another key aspect of the role includes assisting in drafting Special Leave Petitions (SLPs), writs, commercial suits, contracts, settlement agreements, and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). Additionally, interns may be tasked with handling other ancillary assignments depending on the requirements of ongoing cases. The experience is designed to provide a holistic understanding of both litigation and corporate law practice, ensuring practical exposure to real-world legal issues.
