About the Internship
The Office of the Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM), under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, invites applications for the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Internship Programme.
Eligibility
- Students (UG/PG) in Law, Science, Engineering & related fields (who have completed their course)
- Research Scholars with an interest in IPR
- Professionals seeking exposure to IPR frameworks
Duration
- Online: 30 days (one daily session)
- Offline: 30 days (UG students) | 45 days | 6 months | up to 12 months (as per discretion of CGPDTM)
Key Objectives
- Exposure to IP administration
- Understanding of IP laws, rules & procedures
- Promoting research in IPR aligned with national policy
- Hands-on training through available facilities
Locations
Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, and other IP offices (Patents, Designs, Trade Marks, GI, Copyright, etc.)
