About the Opportunity
Saikrishna & Associates is opening for an Associate to join the Patent Litigation team based in New Delhi.
Eligibility
- LL.B degree from a recognized Indian university.
- Bar Council Enrollment.
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in patent litigation practice.
- Sound understanding of patent law and litigation procedure.
- Working knowledge of filing processes, case listings, and court registry practices in Delhi High Court.
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, with ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously.
- Takes initiative, ownership, and accountability for their work.
- A science degree is not a must but a good-to-have
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing patents, prior arts, and various technical documents to assess strength of a case.
- Assist in drafting legal memos, legal notices, response to legal notices,
- Assist in drafting pleadings, applications and written submissions in patent litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis on patent, IP and technology-related issues.
- Support seniors during hearings and case preparation.
- Manage filing processes and timelines before the Delhi High Court and other High Courts where relevant (coordinate with local counsels for that purpose)
