About the Internship
LGT Wealth India Private Limited is inviting applications for a paid Legal Intern position, an excellent opportunity for aspiring lawyers to gain hands-on experience across diverse domains including PMS, RIA, NBFC, GIFT City domains and core legal function.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a strong academic background, genuine interest in corp. legal and regulatory work and intersection of law and technology. Preference will be given to long- term candidature from 4th and 5th year interns from reputed law colleges with previous law firm/corp. internships.
Responsibilities
- Assist in contract drafting/vetting including distribution ag., technology ag., SLAs., term sheets, LOIs, ELs, empanelment ag., internal policies, governance structures, standard contracts
- Support in assisting on external negotiations with counterparties & law firms
- Regular interaction with business teams and management
- Internal reporting requirementsResearch on domestic and cross border queries
- Participate in digitization initiatives for legal function
- Collaborate with global teams on cross-border compliance
