
About Nation First Policy Research Centre (NFPRC)
NFPRC undertakes extensive, peer-reviewed research for long-term projects, as well as incisive, quick-turnaround research for actionable agendas.
By leveraging its research capacity, NFPRC assists the Government in reviewing old policies, formulating design and implementation strategies for new ones, and finding ways to enhance the on-ground effectiveness of ongoing schemes.
In addition, NFPRC also conducts an impact evaluation of existing policy interventions to identify lacunae or roadblocks and suggest remedial actions.
About the Internship
They are looking for law interns to join our Land Reforms Project under the Legislative Research Team. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in high-impact policy research and legislative reforms in land and property law.
Work Profile?
- Assisting with in-depth research and analysis of land and property laws, rent control frameworks and state-specific land regimes across India.
- Drafting research notes, case summaries and supporting documentation for model legislation and reform proposals.
- Compiling and managing state-wise legal datasets and comparative analyses.
- Tracking legislative business of Parliament and State Assemblies relating to land and property laws.
Eligibility
Law students or recent law graduates with a strong academic record.
Demonstrated interest in property law, land reforms or public policy.
Good research, analytical and writing skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Proficiency in English (mandatory).
Familiarity with legal databases and basic office productivity tools.
Location
Hybrid (Noida).
Duration
2 months (With a possibility of extension based on performance).
Stipend
Rs. 10K, with possibility of revision based on performance.
