About the Journal

The CUSB Journal of Law & Governance (CJLG) invites original research papers, scholarly articles, case notes, legislative comments, policy reviews, and book reviews for Volume 1, Issue 2. The Journal encourages interdisciplinary scholarship addressing contemporary challenges in law, governance, public policy, and social justice.

Important Note: Submissions must be free of AI-generated content. Authors are required to attach both an AI originality report and a plagiarism report, with plagiarism under 10% as per UGC norms.

Author Guidelines

Submission Format

  • MS Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, 1-inch margins
  • Abstract: Max 250 words with 4–6 keywords

Word Limits

  • Research Articles: 5,000–8,000 words
  • Case Notes / Legislative Comments: 2,000–3,500 words
  • Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words

Referencing Style

  • Bluebook 21st Edition
  • Footnotes only, no endnotes

Ethics & Originality

  • Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere
  • Must be free from AI-generated content
  • Attach AI originality report and plagiarism report (≤10% per UGC norms)
  • Double-blind peer review
  • Authors must submit a signed Declaration of Originality
