(Hons.) programme, LL.M. (Regular), Joint Masters/LL.M. in IP Law and Management Programme, PGIP, Ph.D. and several diploma programmes.
Eligibility
- LL.M. with specialization in Criminal Law OR M.A./ M.Sc. in Criminology OR M.A./M.Sc. in Police Studies/Administration OR any allied subjects from a recognized Indian or foreign university with minimum 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed), and a good academic record.
- Demonstrable research track record in Criminal law/Criminology/Police Studies and allied subjects.
- Prior research experience including field work and data collection is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
The Research Associate will be expected to:
- Assist in research, review, and analysis of institutional architecture of policing and governance frameworks across jurisdictions.
- Conduct doctrinal, empirical, and comparative research (including literature review, case/document analysis, and data-driven inquiries).
- Support the drafting of research outputs, including reports, briefs, and internal working papers.
- Coordinate with project investigators and external consultants where required.
Emoluments
Remuneration will be Rs. 50,000/- per month on a consolidated basis.
Nature of Appointment
Contractual and full time for eight months (further extendable subject to project requirements and performance.)
