About the Progressive Education Society’s, Modern Law College
Progressive Education Society’s, Modern Law College, Pune 16 is one of the premier legal educational institutes in Maharashtra situated close to the “Oxford of the East” the Savitribai Phule Pune University. Established in 2003, Modern Law College has carved a niche for itself.
Permanently affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University, recognised by the Bar Council of India, U/S 2(f) 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1956 and accredited Grade “A” by NAAC Bengaluru, the College stands as one of the best law colleges in Pune. All the courses are approved by university, which include LL.B. (3 years), B.A. LL. B and B.B.A. LL. B (5 years), Masters in Laws (LL.M.); along with various Diploma programs and Certificate Courses. The College is recognised as a PhD. Research Centre by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune.

About the Vidhi Manthan
Vidhi-Manthan is an invigorating legal fest that brings together the sharpest minds in law for a dynamic display of skill and strategy. Featuring three main competitions—Client Counselling, Mediation, and Moot Court—this event challenges participants to showcase their expertise in legal consultation, dispute resolution, and courtroom advocacy.
Through rigorous rounds of competition, Vidhi-Manthan aims to foster critical thinking, enhance practical legal skills, and celebrate the spirit of legal excellence among aspiring lawyers. It’s more than just a competition; it’s a crucible for future legal luminaries:-
Eligibility
Students pursuing full time 3-year LL. B or 5-year BA.LL. B/BBA.LL. B program from a University or Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to apply.
About the Client Counselling Competition
The Client Counselling Competition aims to enhance the practical skills of law students by simulating real-life client interviews. This competition will provide students with an opportunity to develop their interviewing, counselling, and analytical skills, which are essential for effective legal practice.
