About the Internship

Think India invites applications for the International Law Commission Internship with Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Member-Designate, United Nations International Law Commission.

Eligibility

Students in the 3rd year or above of a 5-year Integrated Law Course, or Final-year students of a 3-year Law Course, who have studied Public International Law.

Work Profile

The selected candidates shall work as Law Research Assistants. The work shall generally entail, but is not limited to, engaging with research propositions related to International Law and conducting background research on topics under consideration.

Duration

The assistantship shall preferably span 3 months (extendable)

Exceptional performance during the internship may provide an opportunity to attend the ILC session in Geneva in person, at the candidate’s own expense and subject to feasibility.
