The team comprises professionals with expertise in cross-border and domestic matters, with a particular focus on insolvency practice.
Position Overview: IBC Practice
The firm is seeking one paid Legal Assessment Intern and one Associate who are genuinely interested in the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and have prior work exposure in this domain. The roles are suited for candidates who want hands-on involvement in ongoing insolvency proceedings rather than purely academic exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Insolvency Professionals in day-to-day conduct of processes and compliance.
- Supporting conduct and documentation of CoC/SCC meetings, including preparation of agendas, minutes and related paperwork.
- Drafting and reviewing documents connected to CIRP, liquidation, PPIRP and personal guarantor proceedings.
- Verification, scrutiny and collation of creditor claims and related documents.
- Handling other allied tasks such as file management, follow-ups, research and coordination with stakeholders involved in insolvency processes.
Eligibility & Preferred Background
- Educational background: Law / CA / CS candidates, or individuals from similar professional disciplines.
- Mandatory: Prior experience in IBC work (internship, employment or substantial project exposure).
- Preferred familiarity with:
- CIRP (Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process)
- Liquidation proceedings
- PPIRP (Pre-Packaged Insolvency Resolution Process)
- Personal Guarantor (PG) cases
