Position Overview
The firm is looking to recruit an Associate Advocate to join its litigation team. This role is ideal for junior legal professionals or fresh graduates who are passionate about courtroom practice and wish to develop a career in mainstream litigation under the mentorship of experienced practitioners.
Eligibility Criteria
Experience: 0–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). Freshers with strong internship experience in litigation are encouraged to apply.
Specialization: Strong interest in Civil, Criminal, and Commercial litigation.
Skills: Proficiency in legal research, analytical thinking, and the ability to draft basic legal documents and pleadings. Familiarity with Gujarati (reading/writing) is often an advantage for practice in Ahmedabad.
Professionalism: Disciplined, hardworking, and capable of handling the demands of a busy litigation chamber.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Litigation: Assisting in matters before the Gujarat High Court and subordinate courts.
Legal Research: Conducting thorough research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents.
Drafting: Preparing drafts of petitions, affidavits, legal notices, and applications.
Court Coordination: Managing court dates, filings, and assisting senior advocates during hearings.
