Position Overview

The firm

is looking for Associates/Senior Associates to join its Corporate Commercial team in Mumbai and Delhi. This role is ideal for legal professionals who want to work on complex domestic and cross-border transactions, including PE/VC deals, M&A, and general corporate advisory.

Roles and Responsibilities

Transaction Management: Assisting in and leading Private Equity and Venture Capital investment rounds.
M&A Advisory: Working on mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture transactions from inception to closing.
Due Diligence: Conducting comprehensive legal due diligence and drafting detailed reports.
Drafting & Negotiation: Drafting and negotiating transaction documents such as SHAs, SPAs, and SSAs.
General Corporate: Providing ongoing legal advice on Company Law, FEMA, and regulatory compliance.

Eligibility

Education: Law Graduate (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
Experience: Relevant post-qualification experience (PQE) in Corporate/PE/VC (typically 1–5 years, depending on the specific seniority level).
Skills: Strong understanding of corporate laws, excellent drafting skills, and commercial awareness.
Attributes: A collaborative team player with a solution-oriented approach and the ability to handle high-pressure environments.
