The Asset Recovery department is a critical vertical focused on maintaining the bank’s financial health by managing non-performing assets (NPAs) and ensuring efficient debt collection and legal recovery processes.
Position Overview
The bank is hiring for the role of Asset Recovery Executive for its operations in Kerala. This is a field-heavy, results-oriented role where the executive is responsible for recovering overdue amounts from delinquent accounts while adhering to the bank’s ethical codes and regulatory guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities

Collection & Recovery: Managing a portfolio of overdue accounts and meeting monthly recovery targets.

Field Visits: Conducting regular visits to customers’ residences or offices to negotiate payments and resolve disputes.

Legal Coordination: Working closely with the legal team to initiate and follow up on recovery proceedings under the SARFAESI Act, Section 138 of the NI Act, and other relevant recovery laws.

Documentation: Maintaining meticulous records of collection activities, customer interactions, and payment commitments.

Asset Management: Assisting in the repossession and auctioning of secured assets in cases of continued default.
Eligibility

Education: Any Graduate (Law graduates or those with a background in Finance/Banking are often preferred).

Experience: Prior experience in debt recovery, collections, or sales (preferably in the banking or NBFC sector) is highly desirable.

Skills: Proficiency in the local language (Malayalam) is essential for effective communication with customers.

Attributes: Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, resilience, and the ability to work under strict targets and deadlines.

Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and a two-wheeler for field visits.
