Position Overview
The company is seeking applications for the role of Legal Officer – Commercial Vehicle Portfolio & LOS Recovery. The position primarily involves managing recovery litigation, arbitration proceedings, and ensuring legal compliance related to the commercial vehicle portfolio. Preference will be given to candidates from the local region.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handling legal matters concerning the commercial vehicle portfolio and recovery proceedings
- Managing arbitration cases and matters under Section 138 of the NI Act
- Overseeing execution petitions (EP), consumer disputes, and criminal cases
- Coordinating customer visits and recovery-related follow-ups
- Managing police complaints and maintaining necessary legal documentation
- Assisting in legal compliance, reporting, and documentation work
Eligibility
- LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience
- Strong background in arbitration proceedings
- Knowledge of Section 138 of the NI Act
- Experience in EP cases, consumer matters, and criminal litigation
- Ability to handle police complaints and interact with customers when required
- Proficiency in MS Office and Excel
- Professional approach with the ability to work independently
