Position Overview
Associate – Private Client Practice (Legal)
Location: Ahmedabad Office
This role focuses on international estate planning, asset protection, and cross-border corporate and trust structuring, with significant exposure to international legal frameworks, particularly U.S. law.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth legal research on international estate planning, asset protection, and wealth structuring, with emphasis on U.S. and other international laws
- Analyse corporate laws and their interaction with trusts, foundations, and estate planning structures
- Assist in designing, reviewing, and implementing cross-border corporate and trust structures
- Prepare detailed research notes, legal memorandums, opinions, and comparative jurisdictional analyses
- Draft and review trust deeds, estate planning instruments, corporate documentation, and holding structures
- Prepare high-quality client-facing content, presentations, and research publications for private client practice
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation strategies
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships through effective communication
- Coordinate with internal teams, external counsel, and business partners for transaction execution
- Stay updated on legal, regulatory, and industry developments to provide proactive legal solutions
Eligibility
- LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognised university
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in private client practice or corporate transactional work
- Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Familiarity with international legal frameworks preferred
