2nd Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Moot Court Competition 2026

A national-level moot court competition organized to enhance advocacy, research, and legal drafting skills of law students. The competition simulates real courtroom proceedings, allowing participants to argue cases and present legal memorials.

The event is inspired by the constitutional vision of B. R. Ambedkar, encouraging discussion on contemporary legal issues and constitutional values.

Eligibility

You can participate if you are:

• A student enrolled in a 3-Year LL.B. or 5-Year Integrated LL.B. program
• From a recognized law college or university
• Multiple teams from the same institution are allowed

Location

The competition will be held at:

University of Science & Technology Meghalaya
Baridua, Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya.

• Winning Team: ₹30,000
• Runner-up Team: ₹15,000
• Best Memorial: ₹5,000
• Best Speaker: ₹5,000
• Best Researcher: ₹5,000
