About the Competition
The 1st Smt. Krishna Neotia Memorial Moot Court Competition, 2026 is a national-level moot court competition organized by the School of Law at The Neotia University. The competition aims to provide law students with a platform to develop advocacy skills, legal research abilities, and courtroom etiquette through simulated court proceedings.
Objective:
- To promote legal research and advocacy skills among law students.
- To provide exposure to courtroom procedures and argumentation.
- To encourage critical analysis of legal issues and interpretation of law.
Participants must:
- Register their team through the official registration process.
- Prepare and submit memorials for both sides as per the competition rules.
- Participate in oral rounds and follow the competition guidelines issued by the organisers.
Eligibility
- The competition is open to students pursuing LL.B. (3-year) or integrated 5-year law courses from any recognized university or law school.
- Each institution may send teams as per the rules prescribed in the competition brochure.
