Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a Paralegal – Private Client / Court of Protection to join its respected Private Client team. This role focuses on assisting with Court of Protection matters, working on complex and sensitive cases involving vulnerable individuals or those lacking mental capacity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and submitting applications to the Court of Protection
- Support in managing clients’ personal and financial affairs
- Draft legal documents, including Statutory Wills and Trusts
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate case files and assist fee earners in legal work
- Provide administrative and legal support within the team
Eligibility:
- Prior experience in Private Client or Court of Protection work
- Strong attention to detail and drafting skills
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Team-oriented approach with willingness to learn
