Position Overview:
The firm is hiring a Debt Recovery Paralegal to manage a fast-paced and varied caseload. The role involves end-to-end handling of debt recovery matters, from initial instruction through to enforcement and resolution, ensuring commercially effective outcomes for clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of debt recovery files independently
- Handle matters from instruction to final resolution
- Prepare and issue legal documents, including winding-up petitions
- Ensure timely and cost-effective recovery strategies
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to provide updates and legal support
- Maintain compliance with legal procedures and regulatory frameworks
- Contribute to a solutions-driven, client-focused service delivery
Eligibility:
- Proven experience as a Debt Recovery Paralegal
- Strong understanding of debt recovery procedures and insolvency processes
- Experience handling high-value and complex matters
- Ability to prepare and manage winding-up petitions
- Excellent organisational and case management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
