Competition Overview
The 1st STL National Article Writing Competition, 2026 aims at fostering academic research, analytical thinking, and meaningful engagement among students on issues at the intersection of law and technology. The competition encourages critical engagement with how technology shapes constitutional rights, commercial regulation, criminal justice, privacy, and access to justice.
Theme
Participants are encouraged to engage with contemporary issues at the intersection of law and technology. Indicative themes include: Artificial Intelligence and Law; Data Protection, Privacy, and Surveillance; Platform Governance and Digital Intermediaries; Intellectual Property in the Digital Ecosystem; Technology and Constitutional Law; Emerging Technologies and Legal Futures; Digital Economy and FinTech Regulation.
Eligibility Criteria
Open to all students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate law programmes at any recognised university or institution in India.
Team Composition
Single-authored or co-authored submissions permitted.
