Paytm Money Limited is seeking a Deputy General Manager/General Manager – Legal for a non-litigation role. The position

focuses on contract drafting and negotiation, contract lifecycle management, vendor-related legal matters, and regulatory compliance, particularly with respect to SEBI outsourcing regulations.

Eligibility

Strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
Experience in handling legal agreements, vendor contracts, and contract management processes.
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements, particularly those relating to outsourcing arrangements.
Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on legal and compliance matters.

Responsibilities

Contract Drafting and Negotiation

Draft, review, vet, and negotiate commercial agreements, including:
- Vendor Contracts
- Service Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Technology Contracts
- SaaS Agreements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to finalize agreements while safeguarding the company’s interests.

Contract Management

Maintain and update contract trackers to monitor agreement lifecycles, renewal dates, and contractual obligations.
Ensure timely execution, renewal, closure, and archival of agreements.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations relating to outsourcing of critical activities.
Review vendor arrangements and agreements to assess adherence to applicable outsourcing guidelines.
Coordinate with relevant teams to secure necessary approvals and disclosures.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

Prepare reports and updates for senior management regarding contract status, legal risks, and compliance observations.
Address queries from internal teams relating to agreements and regulatory compliance matters.

Policy Adherence and Process Improvement

Assist in developing and implementing legal processes, templates, and best practices.
Support internal audits and regulatory inspections relating to outsourcing arrangements.
