About The HIET Group of Institutions
The Himachal Institute of Engineering and Technology (HIET) Group of Institutions, established in 2010 in Shahpur, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, is a co-educational technical institution run by the Dhauladhar Education Society. It provides diploma, engineering, and law programs, including BA LLB and hotel management, focusing on practical training.
About Opportunity
The Lex Maven CDIL National Moot Court Competition, 2026 in collaboration with LEX MAVENLLP aim stop provide students with animmersive experience of appellate court proceedings through rigorous legal research, memorial drafting, andoral advocacy. The competition focuses on contemporary legal issues and promotes ethic allawyering, analytical reasoning, and advocacy skills.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing either a 3-year or a 5-year LL.B. degree from any Law School/College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.TeammembersmustbeBonafidestudentsoftheinstitutiontheyare representing.
- Teams participating in the Competition must be duly authorized by the moot court society/ Faculty-in-charge/ Dean of their respective Institute to participate.
- Once registered (after Final Registrations),a Team will not be permitted to vary their composition in any manner.
Team Composition
The participating team shall comprise of three(3) members. In a team of three(3) members, two members shall be design at edas‘Speakers’ and the third member of the team shall be designated as a ‘Researcher’.
Each team will have a unique Team code (TC) ). Teams shall not disclose their identity or that of their institution or city etc. Such disclosures will invite penal ties including disqualification.
