About the Internship
Straive is inviting applications for a 6-month remote legal internship designed for motivated law students seeking practical exposure to corporate legal functions. The internship offers valuable experience in areas such as contract review, compliance, and legal research, making it an excellent opportunity for students interested in corporate law and governance while continuing their academic studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to conduct effective legal research and drafting. Basic proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace is required. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in corporate law, contracts, and compliance and be self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Duration & Mode
The internship will be for a duration of 6 months and will be conducted remotely, making it convenient for law students to balance academic commitments with professional learning.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will assist in reviewing contracts, drafting legal documents, conducting compliance checks, and performing legal research. They will also help the legal team in preparing internal policy documents and coordinating with relevant stakeholders on contractual and compliance-related issues.
