About NLIU, Bhopal
The National Law Institute University, Bhopal, was established by Act No. 41 of 1997 of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature to fill the gap and providing the most modern legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. It is the second law school established under the National Law School system.
Since its inception in 1997, NLIU has earned a reputation as a premier institution providing quality legal education and engaging in research in cutting-edge areas of law. In its journey, the university has carved out a niche for itself in terms of academic excellence and the successful placement of its students. Today, NLIU stands as one of the most reputed legal institutions in India and is consistently rated as one of the best law universities in the country.
About NLIU-MUN 2026
The Sixth Edition of NLIU-MUN will bring together passionate delegates from schools and universities across India for three days of diplomacy, deliberation, and international collaboration. This edition is hosted under the aegis of two of NLIU’s most prominent student-led academic bodies, the Centre for Research in International Law (CRIL) and Manthan: The Centre for Knowledge and Policy Discussion.
The conference will feature six dynamic committees simulating some of the world’s most influential international forums, including:
- United Nations General Assembly I – DISEC (Disarmament and International Security)
- United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
- United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW)
- United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)
- National Security Council (NSC)
- International Press Corps (IPC)
The event promises a platform for students to engage in rigorous debate, policy analysis, and negotiation, fostering skills in public speaking, diplomacy, and international law.
Eligibility
Participation is open to students from any recognised school and Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students from any recognised University.
