About Lexathon 2026:
Lexathon 2026 aims to be bigger and more impactful, featuring academic and policy-driven competitions along with panel discussions and networking opportunities.
The Policy Presentation Competition is being organised in collaboration with Regstreet Law Advisors. The broader conclave also includes collaborations with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co for other academic segments.
About the Competition:
The Policy Presentation Competition provides a platform for participants to design innovative and practical legal policy proposals addressing emerging challenges in the technology sector.
Participants are expected to propose regulatory frameworks that balance technological advancement with ethical governance, transparency, and compliance.
Theme 2026:
“Ethical Governance of Artificial Intelligence in Securities Markets: Ensuring Transparency, Fairness, and Investor Protection.”
The detailed policy problem statement will be released on 24th February, 2026.
Eligibility & Team Composition:
- Open to UG and PG law students (including integrated programs) from recognized universities
- Participation permitted individually or in teams of two
- Cross-institutional teams allowed
- No cap on the number of teams from one institution
Competition Format:
Stage 1 – Policy Submission Round

Stage 2 – Online Presentation Round
