About the Role
Amazon India is inviting applications for the position of Investigation Associate – Level 2, a seasonal fixed-term contract role for nine months under Amazon’s payroll. This position is fully remote, providing an opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to one of the most advanced e-commerce ecosystems in the world. The selected candidate will join the Transaction Risk Management Team in Bangalore, which is responsible for detecting, investigating, and preventing online transaction risks. About the Team
The Transaction Risk Management Team is part of Amazon’s Selling Partner Risk Operations (SPRO) division, whose mission is to safeguard trust across all Amazon stakeholders — including buyers, sellers, brands, vendors, and employees. The team leverages technology, advanced analytics, and scientific methods to manage and eliminate risks in e-commerce transactions. Working in this team means engaging in problem-solving, handling complex investigations, and collaborating with risk analysts, engineers, and other business units. Key Responsibilities
As an Investigation Associate, you will be responsible for examining seller transactions, identifying suspicious activities, and taking corrective action in line with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Your tasks will include researching transaction details, documenting findings, communicating with both internal teams and external stakeholders, and escalating critical issues to the appropriate teams. You will also review Safe-T claims submitted by sellers, evaluating evidence to make accurate decisions on whether to grant or deny claims. Achieving productivity targets, maintaining high-quality standards, and meeting performance metrics will be central to your success in this role.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should hold a graduate degree in any discipline and possess 0–1 years of work experience. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.
