Position Overview
The firm is looking for an Associate to join its Real Estate and Indirect Tax (Real Estate focus) team. This role is designed for a legal professional who can navigate the complexities of property law, due diligence, and the regulatory frameworks governing the real estate sector in India.
Roles and Responsibilities

Type: Full-time Associate.

Due Diligence: Conducting comprehensive title searches and due diligence for various types of properties.

Drafting & Conveyancing: Drafting, vetting, and negotiating Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Collaboration Agreements, and Mortgage documents.

Advisory: Providing legal opinions on land laws, local regulations, and RERA compliance.

Regulatory Liaison: Coordinating with local authorities and land revenue departments for property verification and registration processes.
Eligibility

Experience: 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Real Estate law.

Education: LL.B. from a recognized university.

Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in title verification, and a deep understanding of local land laws and stamp duty regulations.

Communication: Excellent drafting and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency in Hindi is often an added advantage for local coordination).
