Practice Area
The role primarily focuses on Dispute Resolution and Regulatory Advisory. Associates will work on matters involving civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, insolvency, corporate disputes, and regulatory frameworks. The position offers a unique blend of litigation exposure and advisory work, enabling professionals to build expertise across multiple practice areas. This diverse work environment ensures that associates receive practical training in courtroom advocacy, compliance strategy, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Role & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for drafting pleadings, case notes, and legal memorandums, as well as coordinating with clients, appearing in court hearings, and assisting senior lawyers with case strategies. Key tasks include managing regulatory inquiries, conducting thorough legal research, and preparing for pre-litigation settlements. The role also involves strategic planning for dispute resolution and supporting partners in managing case timelines and client communications.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold an LL.B. degree from a recognized university, preferably from NLUs or Symbiosis. While an LL.M. degree is an added advantage, it is not mandatory. Candidates should have 0–2 years of relevant experience in dispute resolution and possess a strong understanding of procedural laws, including IBC, CPC, Arbitration Act, SEBI frameworks, and related regulations. Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage case files and coordinate with various stakeholders.
