
About The Organisation
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law Punjab Act, (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). In May 2015, RGNUL was the first and only NLU to have been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (“NAAC”) with an ‘A’ grade. In March 2018, RGNUL was amongst the four NLUs including NLU Delhi, NALSAR and NLUO to have been granted autonomy by the University Grants Commission.
About Call For Blogs
The Centre for Competition and Consumer Protection Law is a research centre dedicated to advancing understanding and promoting awareness of competition and consumer protection laws. Driven by a committed academic and research community, the Centre seeks to ensure a fair and competitive marketplace through rigorousscholarship and informed policy engagement. Through research, advocacy, and outreach initiatives, it contributes to the development of sound legal frameworks that safeguard the interests of both consumers and businesses.
In furtherance of these objectives, the Centre is presently organising a Call for Blogs, inviting submissions on contemporary and emerging issues in competition law and consumer protection, with the aim of fostering meaningful academic discourse and policy-oriented analysis.
Eligibility
Submissions are invited from:

Theme
The authors may refer to the following themes for research:
- Digital Markets, Platform Power, and the Reconfiguration of Competition Law
- Merger Control in the Age of Data, Innovation, and Nascent Competition
- Abuse of Dominance: Effects-Based Analysis and Evidentiary Thresholds
- Institutional Design and Jurisdictional Interface between Competition Authorities and Sectoral Regulators
- Antitrust Sanctions, Remedies, and the Theory of Deterrence
- Competition Law, Public Interest, and Sustainability Objectives
- Competition law and labour markets: monopsony power and antitrust intervention
- Competition governance in AI-driven and data-intensive markets
- Extraterritorial application and global convergence of antitrust norms
This list is indicative and non-exhaustive. Authors encouraged to interpret the themes creatively, explore interdisciplinary angles. The submissions should have contemporary relevance and must present well-researched insights.
Submission & Formatting Guidelines
- Co-authorship of up to 2 authors is allowed.
- Submissions should not be shorter than 1000 words and no longer than 1500 words, with an abstract no longer than 70 words included in the 1500 words.
- Use Times New Roman Font Size 12, with Line Spacing of 1.5.
- Maintain margins of 1.5 inches on the left, 1 inch on the right, 1 inch on the top, and 1 inch on the bottom.
- All references must be in the form of hyperlinks in the body of the submission. Hyperlinks should be provided to all supporting materials and legal texts for the convenience of the readers. Additionally, if required, authors may occasionally use footnotes in OSCOLA style.
- No borders are to be used in the submission.
- The Board reserves the right to add additional links to the sources relevant to the post. Additionally, the Board reserves the right to make editorial changes, where required, without altering the content of the submission.
- Submissions made only in a .doc/.docx format are accepted. The file name must be “Title_CCCPL Manuscript” . The Title of the manuscript should not be more than 12 words.
- The Title, along with all the Headings should be in Bold.
- The manuscript should not contain the name of the author(s), institutional affiliation, or any other identification mark.
- Submissions should be the original work of the author(s). All manuscripts will be checked for plagiarism by the Editorial Board, and offensive, abusive, derogatory, or potentially defamatory submissions will be rejected. A similarity index of 12% will be strictly adhered to for all submissions.
- The author(s) are responsible for the accuracy of facts, opinions, or views stated in the submitted manuscript.
- Submissions must only be made by filling out this Google Form. Submissions made through any other medium will be rejected.
- Once the Editorial Board receives the article, it will go through a rigorous review, and the decision about its acceptance or rejection shall be communicated to the author(s) within 10–12 days. It might, in unforeseen circumstances, extend to 15 days; the same would be communicated to the author(s) by the Board.
- Adhering to all the submission guidelines is mandatory.
