About the Organisation
Saveetha School of Law, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS), Chennai, established in 2009, is a premier law school accredited with NAAC A++ and ranked 13th among Indian law universities (NIRF 2023). The institution is recognized by the Bar Council of India and UGC, offering UG, PG, and Ph.D. programmes with a strong focus on quality legal education and research.
About the Conference
The National Conference on “Viksit Bharat @ 2047: Transforming India through Public Policy, Law and Governance” will be held on 8th October 2025 at Saveetha School of Law, SIMATS, Chennai. The conference aims to provide a platform for academicians, practitioners, policymakers, and students to deliberate on legal, policy, and governance reforms vital to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
About Call for Papers
The conference invites original research papers from academicians, research scholars, professionals, and students on themes related to law, public policy, governance, rights, and development. Selected papers will undergo a blind peer-review process and be considered for publication in an edited book with ISBN.
Eligibility
Academicians, legal professionals, research scholars, and students from universities, colleges, and research institutions are eligible to submit.
