About the Role

The firm is seeking skilled Associates and Senior Associates with 1 to 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in fintech advisory, regulatory frameworks, data privacy laws, technology agreements, and related corporate matters. This role demands not only technical legal proficiency but also the ability to navigate complex business landscapes and anticipate client needs. Successful candidates will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, engage with high-profile clients, and address evolving legal challenges in the fintech and corporate sectors.

Responsibilities

The position involves providing end-to-end legal advisory services in fintech-related matters, ensuring clients operate within the bounds of applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities will include advising on regulatory compliance for financial technology businesses, drafting and reviewing technology agreements, and offering guidance on data privacy and protection practices. Associates will also be expected to keep abreast of emerging legal trends, contribute to policy discussions, and manage client relationships effectively. This role requires a detail-oriented approach, strong legal research skills, and the ability to produce precise, business-friendly documentation tailored to each client’s needs.

Qualifications/Background

Applicants should hold a law degree from a reputable institution and possess between 1 to 4 years of PQE, ideally gained within a law firm environment. Prior law firm experience is a strict requirement, as the role demands familiarity with professional legal service standards and client expectations. Exposure to fintech advisory, regulatory matters, and technology law is essential, alongside a strong understanding of Indian and international legal frameworks.
