About the Role
As a Tax & Legal Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in leading the consultative sales process for clients dealing with various tax and legal issues. This is a full-time position based in Chennai and Mumbai, and it offers an opportunity to be the trusted advisor that clients rely on when facing complex challenges such as tax notices, legal disputes, or regulatory compliance matters. The primary objective is to analyze each client’s unique situation, provide expert insight, and match them with the appropriate service packages through the company’s professional partner network.
Key Responsibilities
You will engage with inbound leads who may be experiencing issues related to income tax, GST, legal disputes, or compliance with ROC and Companies Act provisions. Your responsibility is to offer strategic clarity on their problems, explain available solutions, and recommend relevant service packages. The role demands that you walk clients through pricing, service scope, and the overall process to ensure a smooth conversion. In addition, you will work alongside internal departments to ensure efficient proposal generation, accurate payment tracking, and seamless onboarding. Keeping detailed records of client interactions and maintaining an excellent conversion rate are vital components of this role.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a CA qualification or a Law degree (LLB/LLM) and should have between 3 to 8 years of professional experience. Chartered Accountants are expected to have a solid background in tax advisory, litigation, or compliance, particularly with interpreting tax notices and outlining resolution strategies. Legal professionals should have experience in corporate law, litigation, or business legal advisory. Familiarity with legal documentation, regulatory processes, and client-facing consultation is essential. This role is ideal for individuals who are confident in their subject matter expertise and are capable of explaining complex issues in a simplified manner.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
Candidates must exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to build trust through a consultative selling approach.
