Experience Required

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
-
Ensure adherence to RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, AMFI, and RERA regulations.
-
Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting DSAs, corporate insurance agencies, mutual fund distributors, and real estate brokers.
-
Design and execute risk mitigation strategies.
-
Liaise with regulatory bodies when required.
Contract Management & Documentation
-
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of contracts including those related to loans, insurance, mutual funds, and real estate.
-
Ensure all contracts are compliant and legally robust.
-
Maintain accurate legal records and documentation.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution
-
Handle all litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters.
-
Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel as needed.
-
Address customer grievances and regulatory notices in coordination with the compliance team.
Corporate Governance & Advisory
-
Advise leadership on legal risks and corporate governance.
-
Ensure best practices are followed during board and shareholder meetings.
-
Provide legal inputs and documentation as necessary.
Team Leadership & Training
-
Lead and manage the legal department.
-
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure end-to-end compliance.
-
Conduct training for employees on regulatory and legal compliance matters.
Qualifications & Skills
-
LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed institution.

Strong knowledge of:
-
RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, AMFI, and RERA regulations
-
Corporate governance and risk frameworks
-
Contract law and litigation procedures
-
Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in fast-paced and regulatory-driven environments.
