
About the Organiser
IILM University, Greater Noida is a progressive institution established under the Uttar Pradesh Private University (Amendment) Act, 2022. Through its School of Law, IILM offers comprehensive legal education with a strong emphasis on academic rigor, practical training, interdisciplinary learning, and professional readiness. About the Competition
The IILM National Moot Court Competition 2026, organised by the IILM Moot Court Society, provides law students with a rigorous platform to hone their advocacy, research, and courtroom skills. The competition is designed to simulate real court proceedings, encouraging excellence in legal reasoning, memorial drafting, and oral advocacy.
Objective
- To promote mooting culture and practical legal training
- To enhance advocacy, research, and drafting skills among law students
- To encourage professionalism, court etiquette, and ethical advocacy
Participants must
- Adhere strictly to the competition rules and anonymity requirements
- Submit memorials within prescribed timelines and formats
- Ensure team composition remains unchanged after final registration
- Avoid disclosure of identity, institution, or city during the competition
Eligibility
- Students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programmes from institutions recognised by the Bar Council of India
- All team members must be bonafide students of the institution represented
- Participation must be duly authorised by the Moot Court Society / Faculty-in-Charge / Dean of the respective institution

Registration & Submission
- Registration to be completed online via the official registration link
- Memorials to be submitted in both soft and hard copy formats
- Teams must consist of 2–3 members (Speakers and Researcher as per rules)

- Team Registration Fee: ₹4,500
(Accommodation available at nominal additional charges)

- Winning Team: ₹71,000 + Trophy + Certificates
- Runner-Up Team: ₹36,000 + Trophy + Certificates
- Best Speaker/Mooter: ₹5,000
- Best Researcher: ₹5,000
