Campaign Overview:
The Illustrated Law Carousel Competition is an online campaign aimed at encouraging students, young professionals, and creative minds to design posters/infographics on legal rights. The campaign focuses on combining creativity + legal awareness to spread knowledge of basic rights in a simple, visual format that reaches a wider audience on social media.
Objective:
To spread legal awareness among the general public in a visually appealing, easy-to-understand manner. To engage students and youth in creative expression of law. To build social media engagement and reach through shareable posters. To encourage research, creativity, and public education on important laws.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Students in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th year of a 5-year law course OR 2nd or 3rd year of a 3-year law course
- LL.M. students from recognized universities
- Law graduates and postgraduates
Themes / Suggested Topics for carousel:
Participants can choose any one:
- Right to Education
- Right to Equality
- Right to Information (RTI)
- Consumer Rights
- Rights of Women / Children
- Right to Privacy & Cyber Laws
- Right to Legal Aid
- Environmental Rights
- Rights during Arrest & Detention
Submission Guidelines: Through Google Form:
- Format & Size
- Poster must be designed in digital format (JPEG/PNG/PDF).
- Recommended sizes (choose any one):
- Instagram Post: 1080 × 1080 px (square)
- Instagram/LinkedIn Carousel: 1080 × 1350 px (portrait)
- File size should not exceed 100 MB.
- Design & Layout
- The poster should include:
- Heading – Bold, clear, and concise (e.g., Right to Information).
- Body Text – Simple explanation of the law/right in 2–4 short lines.
- Visuals/Icons/Illustrations – To make it engaging and easy to understand.
- Unique templates and graphics must be used
- Font suggestion (not mandatory):
- Heading – Bold (e.g., League Spartan, Montserrat, or Poppins Bold).
- Subheading – Semi-bold (League Spartan/inter/DM sans).
- Body – Regular/Readable (e.g., Inter, Roboto, Lato).
- Language
- English only.
- Must use simple, non-technical language so even non-law background viewers can understand.
- Content Rules
- Carousel must be original and self-designed
- Avoid too much text – keep it clean, concise, and impactful.
- No offensive, defamatory, or political content.
- Use credible legal sources (e.g., Constitution articles, landmark cases, statutes).

Rules for Participation:
- Open to all law students and young professionals
- Individual participation only (no teams).
- Carousel must not contain offensive/defamatory content.
- Organizers hold the right to publish selected Carousel with due credit.
