About AM Chambers

AM Chambers is a Delhi-based legal office with a strong practice in civil, commercial, corporate, arbitration, and intellectual property rights (IPR) law. The firm is known for its professional integrity, diverse case portfolio, and commitment to delivering strategic legal solutions. With an emphasis on client-focused service, AM Chambers provides a stimulating environment for budding legal professionals to observe and contribute to real-world cases. This is an excellent opportunity for law students to immerse themselves in the workings of a busy legal practice, gain practical skills, and witness the nuances of advocacy and case strategy first-hand.

About the Opportunity

The firm is inviting applications for internships on a rolling basis between September and December. Selected interns will work closely with experienced advocates and get involved in the full spectrum of legal activities handled by the firm. This role is designed to give law students practical exposure to case preparation, research, and client interactions. Through this experience, interns can strengthen their understanding of civil, commercial, arbitration, and IPR law, while also improving drafting and analytical skills. The physical internship mode ensures direct mentorship and a collaborative work experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Interns at AM Chambers will assist in researching legal provisions, precedents, and case laws relevant to ongoing matters. They will participate in drafting legal documents such as briefs, memoranda, and official correspondence. Reviewing case files, summarizing critical points, and preparing materials for court proceedings will be part of the day-to-day work. Interns may also attend hearings, arbitrations, and client meetings, offering them a front-row view of litigation and dispute resolution processes. The role requires diligence, attention to detail, and an eagerness to learn from hands-on assignments in a professional legal environment.

Eligibility Criteria

Applications are open to law students currently in their 3rd–5th year of a 5-year LLB program or 2nd–3rd year of a 3-year LLB course. The internship is ideal for candidates who are eager to gain exposure to litigation, corporate advisory, and dispute resolution work. Applicants should possess good research and drafting skills, along with a willingness to work in a fast-paced legal setting. Prior internship experience in similar practice areas will be an added advantage, but it is not mandatory.

Location

The internship will be conducted physically at AM Chambers’ office located in Block-E, Greater Kailash 1, New Delhi. The location offers convenient connectivity and is well-equipped to provide interns with a professional workspace. Being on-site will allow interns to engage more directly with the team, attend hearings in person, and participate in live case discussions.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can apply through the official application link provided at the end of the post. Applicants are encouraged to include a well-crafted cover letter along with their CV, highlighting relevant skills, interests, and any prior experience. This is a valuable opportunity for aspiring lawyers to gain meaningful experience in a reputed Delhi-based law firm.
