Eligibility
The internship program at Chambers for Justice is tailored for law students who wish to build a solid foundation in litigation and client service. Candidates currently pursuing either a three-year LL.B. course or a five-year integrated program are eligible to apply. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong research and analytical skills along with proficiency in both written and oral communication. While prior internship experience will be considered an advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement. The program is especially suitable for final-year law students who are eager to learn and contribute meaningfully during their internship. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to the full duration of the internship and demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for legal practice.
Role and Responsibilities
Interns at Chambers for Justice will be actively involved in the daily operations of the firm, ensuring a practical and enriching experience. Their primary responsibilities will include conducting detailed legal research, preparing concise case summaries, assisting in drafting legal documents, and maintaining case files with accuracy. Additionally, interns will engage in client coordination, gathering necessary information to support case preparation and strategy. With a hybrid mode of work, students based in Delhi will have greater opportunities for direct interaction with lawyers and court proceedings. This structured program offers practical exposure to litigation, research, and client handling, equipping interns with essential skills that go beyond classroom learning. By the end of the program, interns will gain a deeper understanding of both procedural and substantive law.
How to Apply
The internship program is structured for one month, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Work timings will be from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring interns experience the regular schedule of legal practice. While the internship is unpaid, it offers immense practical exposure along with a Certificate of Internship upon successful completion. Candidates interested in applying should do so before August 31, 2025. Applications must be submitted through the official Google Form provided by the firm. With only 10 positions available, applicants are encouraged to apply early to secure their place.
