About Us

Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation (HHHF) is a Section 8 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities across India. The foundation works through a comprehensive approach that combines legal aid, social awareness, education, and poverty alleviation initiatives. HHHF regularly organizes pro bono legal clinics, rights-awareness workshops, and social campaigns to ensure vulnerable groups understand and can assert their fundamental rights. Alongside advocacy, HHHF partners with local schools and community centers to provide digital literacy programs and remedial tutoring for underprivileged students. The foundation also supports micro-enterprise development, financial literacy training, and crisis relief distribution. A strong focus on youth engagement ensures that students are mentored to lead community projects, fostering socially conscious leaders for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Selected interns will contribute to impactful initiatives that include drafting policy briefs on legal issues affecting marginalized groups and planning awareness campaigns. They will assist in executing virtual campaigns and organizing 2–3 outreach visits in their neighborhood or preferred location to spread awareness about fundamental rights. Interns will gain hands-on experience in legal research, policy drafting, and community engagement while understanding the ground realities of social justice work. This role is an excellent opportunity to combine academic knowledge with practical social impact.

Eligibility & Who Can Apply

The internship is open to current undergraduate or postgraduate students from any discipline. Applicants must have a genuine interest in human rights, social justice, public policy, or legal aid. The work schedule is flexible, requiring around 10–15 hours per week, making it suitable for students who want to contribute alongside their academic commitments. A passion for community service, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to engage in field activities are highly valued.

Perks & Recognition

Interns will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the internship. Outstanding performers may also be awarded a Letter of Recommendation, which can be valuable for future academic or professional pursuits. The experience will provide meaningful exposure to social campaigns, grassroots policy advocacy, and community-level impact, adding value to both personal and professional growth.

Selection Process

Applications will be screened, and shortlisted candidates will be invited for a brief video interview. The selection process emphasizes motivation, relevant experience, and commitment to HHHF’s mission rather than just academic credentials.

Application Procedure

Interested applicants should email their CV (if available) or a one-page profile describing their background. A motivation letter (max 1 page) explaining why they wish to join HHHF and any relevant experience must be included. All documents should be sent to hikmathelpinghands@gmail.com.
