Eligibility
The internship program is open to law students enrolled in either a Five-Year Integrated Law Course (3rd year onwards) or a Three-Year LL.B. Course (2nd year onwards). The firm is seeking individuals who have a genuine interest in Intellectual Property Rights and commercial litigation. Applicants should possess good research and drafting skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to meet deadlines. Since this is a full-time, on-site internship at the firm’s office in Jangpura, New Delhi, punctuality and commitment are highly valued. Preference will be given to students who display a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to contribute meaningfully to both litigation and enforcement-related work.
Role
The internship will primarily focus on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), with special emphasis on litigation, counterfeit enforcement, and digital infringement matters. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to real-time cases and enforcement actions, offering them valuable practical insights into the IPR domain. Responsibilities will include assisting in drafting legal notices, plaints, injunctions, replies, and briefs, as well as conducting research on relevant statutes such as the Trade Marks Act and Copyright Act. Interns will also be involved in counterfeit enforcement work, which includes preparing reports, coordinating with Local Commissioners, and compiling evidence. In addition, they will assist in handling digital infringement matters like e-commerce takedowns, social media notice drafting, and online enforcement reports. The role also involves day-to-day support in office operations, client communications, and preparation for hearings.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply by emailing their CV (in PDF format) along with a short cover note to jobs.kunalkhannaco@gmail.com.
