Position Overview
The internship provides practical training in criminal litigation and related legal work. Selected interns will assist in ongoing matters, observe court proceedings, and contribute to drafting, research, and case preparation under professional supervision.
Eligibility Criteria
Duration:
As per the internship cycle offered by the chamber.
Education:
Law students pursuing LL.B. / BA LL.B. or equivalent degree.

Commitment:
Interns must be dedicated to hands-on learning, court exposure, and active participation in chamber work.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Appearances and assistance before the Orissa High Court, Sessions Courts, Lower Courts, and Tribunals
- Drafting pleadings, applications, and written submissions
- Conducting legal research and procedural analysis
- Preparing case notes, briefings, and compilations
- Assisting in briefing senior counsel
- Participating in client conferences and chamber discussions
- Supporting litigation strategy and matter management
- Exposure primarily to criminal litigation, with allied civil and writ matters

Extension
May be considered based on performance and requirement of the chamber.
Mentorship
Interns will receive guidance through hands-on supervision, real case exposure, and interaction with practicing advocates.
