Eligibility
The internship program at MV Kini is open to law students who are in their 2nd year or above of a 5-year integrated law program, or 1st year and above of a 3-year law program. Candidates must have a keen interest in litigation and corporate law, along with strong legal research and drafting skills. Students who demonstrate academic rigor, practical knowledge of legal procedures, and a passion for courtroom practice are preferred. Role and Responsibilities
Interns at MV Kini are entrusted with tasks that provide direct exposure to High Court practice and procedure. Their responsibilities include conducting detailed legal research, assisting in drafting petitions, written submissions, memos, and case summaries, as well as supporting the legal team in preparing for hearings. Interns also get the chance to assist in filings, observe courtroom strategy, and contribute to the preparation of arguments in high-stakes litigation. This hands-on involvement allows interns to understand how legal theories are applied in practice and how advocacy strategies are shaped in real time. The experience offers a rare opportunity to develop practical courtroom skills under the supervision of seasoned lawyers.
