Position Overview

The Chambers is looking to engage two Long-term Interns / Trainees to assist the legal team. This role is designed for candidates who are disciplined and eager to immerse themselves in live matters. The position requires immediate joining and offers a pathway to deep practical learning in commercial and insolvency laws.

Eligibility Criteria

• Status: Law students or recent graduates looking for a long-term traineeship.

• Traits: Candidates must be diligent, dedicated, disciplined, and passionate about litigation and advisory work.

• Commitment: Must be available for a long-term engagement and ready to join immediately.

• Skills: Strong fundamental understanding of commercial laws and a keen eye for detail in due diligence.

Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities

• Insolvency & Bankruptcy: Assisting in matters related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and Insolvency Resolution Processes (IRP) across various forums (NCLT/NCLAT).

• Commercial Litigation: Supporting the team in high-stakes commercial disputes and tribunal appearances.

• Corporate Advisory: Providing assistance in general corporate legal advisory and regulatory compliance.

• Due Diligence: Conducting comprehensive legal due diligence for corporate transactions and advisory reports.

Mumbai, Maharashtra (On-site)
