About the Organization

The Chambers of Tejasv Anand, based in Delhi, is a litigation-focused practice with a strong emphasis on commercial disputes and white-collar crime cases. The office is known for handling complex matters that require strategic legal insight, rigorous research, and effective advocacy before courts. With a practice that balances commercial litigation and criminal law, the chambers provide interns with an immersive environment to understand the intricacies of both domains. The office fosters a culture of professionalism, mentorship, and growth, ensuring that students gain not just theoretical exposure but also practical skills that are crucial for a career in litigation. This internship program for September 2025 has been designed to give law students first-hand experience of the profession while contributing meaningfully to ongoing matters.

Eligibility

The internship is open to law students in their 4th or 5th year of a five-year integrated programme, as well as those in the final year of a three-year LL.B. course. Applicants should have a genuine interest in litigation, particularly in the areas of commercial law, white-collar crime, and financial frauds. The role requires students who are diligent, detail-oriented, and committed to learning through active engagement in legal research, drafting, and case preparation. Prior exposure through moot courts, research papers, or internships in litigation-focused offices will be advantageous but is not mandatory. The internship is best suited for students who wish to gain practical insight into how complex commercial and criminal matters are handled in real-world scenarios.

Role

Selected interns will have the opportunity to work closely with the chamber on ongoing litigation and research assignments. The role will include assisting in drafting legal documents, preparing briefs, conducting in-depth legal research, and observing court proceedings where applicable. Interns will be exposed to live matters involving commercial disputes and white-collar crimes, giving them an understanding of the nuances of courtroom strategy and client handling. The environment at the chambers emphasizes learning by doing, ensuring that students develop critical thinking and analytical skills. Additionally, the mentorship provided during the internship will help interns refine their drafting abilities, improve their advocacy skills, and build a strong foundation for their future in litigation.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can apply by sending their updated CVs to tejasv6anand@gmail.com with the subject line clearly indicating “Internship Application – September 2025.” Applicants are encouraged to highlight relevant academic achievements, moots, research work, or prior internships in litigation. Since the position is for the Delhi office, students should ensure they are available to commit to the full duration of the internship for the month of September. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, so early submissions are recommended.
